Evelyn Abayaah-Issah, Vice PresidentEvelyn Abayaah-Issah has over 10 years of experience in healthcare operations, quality and global business development and strategy. She currently serves as Director for International Programs and Advisory Services at Mass General Hospital. As Director she has helped establish several global strategic collaborations and partnerships with global health institutions.
She has led and served on several diversity committees, including leading the Association of Multicultural Members of Partners Healthcare. She is member of the Acton Boxborough Fostering Racial Justice Group, and sits on Acton Boxborough Regional High School Principal’s Advisory Council. |
Ms. Abayaah-Issah is originally from Sumbrungu in Upper East Region of Ghana – she obtained her primary education at the Bolgatanga Preparatory School and high school education at St. Francis of Assisi Girls Secondary School in the Upper West Region and sixth form at Navrongo secondary school in the Upper East Region .
She obtained her Master’s in Health Management and Policy, Graduate Certificate in Management, Bachelors in Health Education from University of Massachusetts Lowell and Journalism degree from the Ghana Institute of Journalism. She has undertaken several leadership development programs including with the Partnership Inc and YW LeadBoston.
Ms. Abayaah-Issah serves on several boards, including on the Advisory Council of the United States Cooperation of International Patient Programs (USCIPP), Advisory Board of Locs to Coils, Board Member of Clover Foundation, Acton Food Pantry Fundraising Committee and founding member of WADA.
She lives west of Boston with her husband Malick and two daughters.
