Seidu Sumani, PresidentSeidu is a Senior Vice President and the Head of Internal Audit at MFS Investment Management in Boston and is a Part-Time Lecturer at Boston University, where he teaches Financial and Managerial Accounting. His professional experience includes 11 years at Deloitte & Touche, where he was a Senior Manager – he performed client services in Audit and Consulting for all 11 years and concurrently led the Diversity Council for the Boston Office for the last four years, while delivering client service.

Seidu is originally from the Northern Region of Ghana. He grew up in all three northern regions – he attended Primary School in Doba (near Navrongo) and part of Middle School in Nayagnia (also near Navrongo). He completed his Middle School in Wa in the Upper-West Region and attended Wa Secondary School from Form 1 to Upper-Sixth. He also spent part of his childhood life in Damongo and Bugsah in the Northern Region (during school vacation).
Seidu got his BSc. (Hons) in Administration (Accounting) from the School of Administration, University of Ghana, Legon in 1990. After completing Legon, Seidu did a Management Internship in Germany for 18 months before moving to Boston in 1992 to do his masters at Boston University. Seidu is a CPA and a CFA Charter holder.
He lives in the Boston area, with his wife (Lawrencia) and their four children.
